Ruled

A rectangle rotates according to the golden ratio, and something curved emerges from something perfectly straight. Every line here is a taut strand of string. The curve is an illusion built entirely from precision.

I lit it from below and photographed it too close to recognize the whole, because I wanted to know what structure looks like before you understand its structure — just light caught in tension, gold thread pulled taut against itself.

Math, followed closely enough, looks like wonder.
